Meet Mary Kate Connelly

Mary Kate Connelly, M.S. CCC-SLP is a licensed and board-certified speech language pathologist and is the founder and owner of Clear Speech, Language, and Hearing. She is an experienced clinician who has treated a wide variety of pathologies, severities and has worked in a variety of settings including early intervention, elementary schools, middle schools, high school, private practices and telepractice. Her specialty areas include aural (re)habilitation, articulation, receptive and expressive language disorders/delays, and autism spectrum disorders. 

 

Mary Kate graduated from La Salle University with an undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. While at La Salle, Mary Kate completed research on hearing loss and completed a variety of clinical placements that enriched her clinical background. 

 

Mary Kate believes that parents are their child's best teachers. She has an emphasis on parent education so that parents feel empowered to take what they have worked on within the therapy walls and transfer that into the child's home-environment. In addition, she provides engaging activities that are effective and fun! 

 

In her free time, Mary Kate spends time with her family and her two maltipoos, Seamus and Rory. She has a love for traveling, working out and baking.
